Our Story

We didn't want to sell pet stuff.
We wanted to solve pet problems.

Three categories. One promise: if it doesn't actually help your pet, we don't stock it.

Three hot summers. One dog. A lot of useless products.

My golden retriever Biscuit was born in the San Fernando Valley. Summers there regularly hit 105°F, and I spent the first three years of his life trying to keep him comfortable.

I bought cooling vests, sprinkler mats, frozen treat molds, and a very expensive fan designed "for pets." Biscuit hated all of it. He'd sit on the hardwood floor and pant, staring at me like I was missing something obvious.

I started talking to other dog and cat owners. They had the same experience — drawers full of pet gear that seemed like a good idea on Amazon at midnight. I talked to three veterinarians who confirmed what most of us suspected: most of what gets marketed as "pet wellness" is just repurposed human products with a paw print on the box.

So I spent a year finding the things that actually worked. I tested 60+ products with my own pets and a small group of 40 pet-parent volunteers. We narrowed it down to the ones that held up: the cooling mat that Biscuit refuses to leave, the water fountain that finally convinced our skeptical tabby to drink, the deshedding tool that cut my vacuum schedule in half.

PawReady is that shortlist. Nothing more, nothing less.

"If Biscuit won't use it, we don't sell it."

Help pet parents make fewer mistakes, spend less money, and actually solve the problem.

We're not trying to be the biggest pet store. We're trying to be the most useful one — the friend who's already tested everything and tells you what actually works.
